About SaaS MAP
The comparison portal for AI-native SaaS tools
What is SaaS MAP?
SaaS MAP is a comparison portal for discovering the world's best SaaS tools, built for developers, indie hackers, and business professionals who want to understand not just what a tool does — but how well it integrates with AI agents.
We evaluate every tool on two proprietary axes: AI Capabilities (does the SaaS itself use AI?) and Agent Ready score (can Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor control it right now?). This makes SaaS MAP the only directory structured around the AI-agent era.
Why We Built It
When looking for a specific SaaS tool, we kept running into the same problem: there was no single place to compare tools with an AI-agent perspective. Which tools have official MCP servers? Which expose a well-documented REST API? Which support OAuth so an AI agent can act on your behalf?
Existing directories focus on user reviews and pricing. We focus on programmability — how easily an AI agent can orchestrate the tool. That's the gap SaaS MAP fills.
Our Scoring Methodology
Each tool receives a composite AI Score (0–100) derived from two sub-scores:
| Dimension | What It Measures | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| AI Capabilities | Does the SaaS natively use AI in its core features? | 0–5 |
| Agent Ready | Can an AI agent control or automate the tool via MCP / API / webhooks? | 0–5 |
The Agent Ready score is calculated across four layers: MCP layer (official MCP server = +2, community = +1), API layer (REST/GraphQL +1, write API +0.5, OpenAPI schema +0.5), Integration layer (Function Calling examples +0.5, official SDK +0.25, OAuth +0.25), and Automation layer (Zapier +0.25, webhook signature +0.25). Maximum 5 points.
Editorial Independence
SaaS MAP may earn affiliate commissions when readers sign up for tools through our links. This never influences our scores or rankings. Tools are evaluated using the same structured methodology regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists.
All scores are derived from verifiable, publicly available data: official documentation, MCP server registries, API references, and SDK repositories.
